Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    2 c. milk (I use half and half)
    1 Tbsp. butter
    sprinkle of nutmeg
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and salt together.
    Add 3 eggs and mix well.
    Add 3 more eggs and mix well.
    Pour in milk and vanilla and mix thoroughly.
    Pour into a 9-inch deep dish pie shell and sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Bake in 425\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
    Turn oven down to 350\u00b0 and cook for 30 minutes longer.
