Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 ripe tomatoes (medium size)
    6 onions
    1 red pepper, cut up fine
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Peel tomatoes and onions.
    Chop fine.
    Cook until soft.
    Add red pepper and spices.
    Cook over medium heat until half the original amount.
    Fill jars and seal.
