Texas Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large bag hash brown potatoes, thawed
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. corn flakes, crushed
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1/2 c. butter
Preparation
    Mix thoroughly all ingredients except last two.
    Place in 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Top with corn flakes and butter.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
