Tortellini Primavera - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. tricolor cheese tortellini
    1 lb. asparagus, cut into 2-inch pieces
    2 large carrots, pared and thinly sliced
    1 large clove garlic, crushed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    1/2 lb. snow peas, trimmed
    1 onion, sliced crosswise and separated into rings
    1 c. heavy cream
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Cook tortellini as package label directs; drain.
    Keep warm.
