Low-Fat Manicotti - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. manicotti shells
1/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced and sauteed
1 (28 oz.) jar low-fat spaghetti sauce
1/2 tsp. basil
1 1/2 c. nonfat cottage cheese
1 c. shredded nonfat Mozzarella cheese
1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
2 egg whites
pepper to taste
snipped fresh parsley (to garnish)
Preparation

Cook manicotti and drain. Stir mushrooms and spaghetti sauce together. Spread 1/4 of the sauce in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
