Banana Punch(Serves 50) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    6 c. water
    1 (46 oz.) can unsweetened pineapple juice
    1 1/2 c. lemon juice (bottled)
    5 to 6 ripe bananas
    4 (32 oz.) bottles ginger ale
    1 can unsweetened orange juice
Preparation
    Heat sugar in water and cool.
    Add juices.
    Smash bananas; add and mix well.
    Freeze until needed in 2-pound containers.
    About 15 to 20 minutes before serving time, place frozen mixture in punch bowl.
    At serving time, chop up bananas and add that and ginger ale.
    It is best served as a slushy consistency (can be stretched with more ginger ale if necessary).
