Golden Chiffon Cake - cooking recipe

2 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cooking oil
5 egg yolks
3/4 c. water
2 tsp. finely shredded lemon peel
1 tsp. vanilla
8 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

In a small bowl sift together cake flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt; Make a well in the center. Add cooking oil, egg yolks, water, lemon peel, and vanilla. Beat mixture at high speed with electric mixer about 5 minutes or until satin smooth. Wash beaters. Make sure they are completely dry before next step.
