Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. oil (canola)
    4 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. carrots, grated
    1 c. crushed pineapple, drained for 3 hours
Preparation
    Mix sugar and oil.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Combine all dry ingredients (flour, salt, powder, soda and cinnamon) and stir into sugar mixture.
    Add nuts, grated carrots and pineapple.
    Beat well.
    Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    May be iced when cooled with Cream Cheese Icing.
