Chocolate Wafers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour plus more for work surface
    1/2 c. cocoa powder
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 Tbsp. milk
Preparation
    In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; set aside. In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream butter, vanilla and sugar; add eggs and milk. Mix until thoroughly blended. Add reserved flour mixture, scraping sides of the bowl. Divide the dough in half and shape into a flat disk. Wrap each disk in plastic wrap, then chill until firm.
