Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. Wesson oil
    2 medium onions, chopped
    1/4 c. water
    1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes
    2 lb. round steak, cut 1-inch thick
Preparation
    Mix flour,
    salt
    and
    pepper, pound into both sides of meat. Heat oil
    in
    large
    frying pan.
    Brown meat slowly (10 minutes) on each
    side.
    Remove from pan.
    Cook onions in same pan until golden.
    Stir in remaining flour from dredging.
    Add water and tomatoes.
    Cook,
    stirring,
    until sauce comes to a boil.
    Put meat in pan and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
