Fruited Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. box rosamarina or orzo pasta
    1 (8 oz.) jar maraschino cherries
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 eggs
    2 (20 oz.) cans crushed pineapple
    1 can mandarin oranges
    1 large Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cook pasta according to directions.
    Drain cherries and cook this juice with sugar, flour and eggs until thick.
    Mix this with pasta and chill 2 to 4 hours or overnight.
    Drain crushed pineapple and mandarin oranges.
    Cut oranges and cherries in half. Fold fruit and Cool Whip into pasta.
    Chill.
