Yule Kage - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cakes yeast
4 Tbsp. sugar
3 c. milk
1/4 lb. butter
12 Tbsp. sugar
8 c. flour
4 eggs
1 Tbsp. cardamon
1 Tbsp. salt
raisins to taste
citron to taste
Preparation

Break up yeast and cover with 4 tablespoon sugar.
This will liquefy and will take a little while.
Heat milk and add butter and 12 tablespoons sugar.
When butter and sugar are melted, add yeast and 4 cups of flour.
Beat well until bubbles form on top.
Then add eggs, cardamon, salt and gradually about 4 cups flour.
Let rest on board for 15 minutes.
Knead lightly and put into greased bowl to rise to twice in bulk.
Take from bowl, shape into loaves, add raisins and citron to taste.
Let stand until twice in bulk and bake.
