Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (16 oz.) cans sweet potatoes, in heavy syrup
    1/2 c. light brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
Preparation
    Drain sweet potatoes, reserving 1/4 cup syrup.
    In large skillet, heat brown sugar, butter, orange rind, cinnamon and reserved syrup to boiling.
    Reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened, about 1 minute.
    Add sweet potatoes, heat through, gently stirring, to coat with glaze.
    Makes 6 servings.
