Harlequin Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 oz. Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
2 c. tomato juice
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
1 c. tuna, drained or cooked, diced chicken
4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
Preparation

Shred Cheddar cheese (makes 1 1/4 cups).
Save 1/4 cup for biscuits.
Melt butter in saucepan; blend in flour.
Gradually add tomato juice and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick.
