Bear Stew With Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    bear meat for stew
    margarine
    4 onions, sliced
    4 potatoes, quartered
    4 carrots, sliced
    2 turnips, sliced
    1 c. diced celery
    12 small white onions
    2 bay leaves
    salt and pepper
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    milk
Preparation
    Cut meat into 1-inch cubes.
    Brown sliced onions in a stew pot along with the meat.
    Add water and simmer until the meat is almost tender.
    Add potatoes, carrots, turnips, celery, onions and bay leaves.
    Salt and pepper to taste and cook until vegetables are done.
