Pineapple Delight(Serves 54) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. margarine
    2 pt. vanilla wafers, crushed fine
    6 c. powdered sugar
    9 eggs
    2 c. chopped pecans
    9 c. crushed pineapple (seven No. 2 cans)
    1 pt. whipping cream
Preparation
    Divide 1 pint crushed wafers among 3 (13 x 9 1/2 x 2-inch) jelly roll pans.
    Spread evenly on pans.
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs.
    Beat well.
    Divide batter into thirds.
    Spread over wafers.
    Sprinkle nuts over all.
    Spoon 3 cups pineapple over nuts in pan.
    Pour whipped cream over fruit in pan.
    Cover with rest of wafer crumbs.
    Chill 4 hours before serving.
