Grandma Houser'S Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium cabbage
    3 to 4 carrots, peeled
    1 medium onion
    1/3 to 1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1/3 c. vinegar
    1/4 to 1/3 c. sugar
    celery seed
Preparation
    Grate cabbage, onion and carrots; mix together in a large bowl.
    Sprinkle with celery seed and sugar.
    Add vinegar and oil; mix thoroughly.
    Refrigerate 1 hour before serving.
