Ingredients

1/2 c. granulated white sugar
4 tsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 c. apple cider
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Combine sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon in a small saucepan. Stir in apple cider and lemon juice. Cook and stir the mixture over a medium heat until thickened and bubbly.
Cook and stir 2 minutes more.
Remove from heat and stir in butter until melted. Makes about 1 1/3 cups.
