Fudge Brownie Pie With Real Hot Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. Bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
    1/3c.+1 Tbsp. All purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. Cocoa powder
    1/4 tsp. Baking powder
    Scant 1/4 tsp. Salt
    1/2 c. Unsalted butter, slightly softened
    3/4 c.+2 Tbsp. Sugar
    1 large Egg
    1 large Egg yolk
    2 tsp. Pure vanilla
    Vanilla or coffee ice cream, for serving
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0f. 160\u00b0c. gas mark 3. In a double boiler melt the chocolate over 1 of hot, but not simmering water.
    Remove chocolate from the heat and cool slightly.
    Thoroughly stir together the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
    In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar until blended, about 2 minutes.
    Beat in the whole egg and the egg yolk, then beat in the vanilla.
    Beat for 2-3 minutes until the batter is very light and fluffy and the sugar has dissolved.
    Beat in the melted chocolate at low speed.
    Stir in the dry ingredients until incorporated.
