Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. uncooked rice
    1 can beef consomme or chicken
    small can drained mushrooms
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 onion, chopped
    1 stick butter
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Melt butter in baking dish.
    Stir in all ingredients.
    Bake uncovered at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
