Pumpkin Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. sugar
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
1 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Beat together for 1 minute the first 4 ingredients.
Add all other ingredients and beat for 1 minute or until well blended. Bake in 3 (8-inch) pans for 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Frost with the following frosting.
