My Mother'S Recipe For Molasses Crumb Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 c. hot water
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. ginger
1/8 tsp. cloves

Preparation

Crumb Part:
Combine dry ingredients except baking soda and work in the shortening to make crumbs.
