Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steak, cut in 1-inch chunks
    1/4 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. Wesson oil
    2 (8 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato sauce
    1/4 tsp. basil
    6 each: small carrots, onions, potatoes (pared and quartered)
    1 c. sliced celery
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Coat beef with flour in large heavy saucepan or skillet.
    Brown beef in Wesson oil.
    Stir in water, Hunt's sauce and seasonings. Cover, simmer 1 1/2 hours; add vegetables and simmer until done, about 45 minutes.
    Serves 6.
