1-2-3-4 Layer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. sifted cake flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    4 eggs
    1 scant c. milk or water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 box raisins
Preparation
    Put the spice batter into two other pans; then bake the four layers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 30 to 35 minutes.
    When the layers have cooled, put together with the filling and frost with Caramel Frosting.
