Beef 'N' Wine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 lb. chuck in 1-inch cubes or 3 to 4 lb. stew beef
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    2 cans golden mushroom soup
    garlic powder
    3/4 c. dry sherry
Preparation
    Put meat in 3-quart casserole dish.
    Sprinkle with garlic powder (you determine amount).
    In separate bowl mix together soup, dry soup mix and sherry.
    Pour over meat and mix.
    Cover casserole and bake at 325\u00b0 for 2 hours.
    Serve over noodles.
