German Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage (firm a must!)
    1 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 c. chopped onions
    3/4 c. oil
    3/4 c. sugar
    2/3 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Chop
    cabbage (not too fine).
    Mix cabbage, bell pepper and onions.
    Heat
    oil, sugar, vinegar, salt, celery salt and black pepper until sugar is dissolved.
    Pour hot mixture over cabbage mixture.
    Refrigerate
    for 24 hours.
    Makes 2 quarts. Will keep in refrigerator for several weeks.
