Broiled Crab Meltaways - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 English muffins
    1/2 c. margarine
    2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1 (6 1/2 to 7 oz.) can crabmeat
    1 (5 oz.) jar Old English sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Slice English muffins in half and cut each into quarters. Place on cookie sheet. Mix remaining ingredients in small bowl. Spread on muffins. Freeze at least 30 minutes. IMPORTANT STEP (May be kept frozen for 2 to 3 weeks). When ready to use, broil frozen crab meltaways until they puff up and are bubbly and slightly golden brown. Serve hot. Makes 48 meltaways.
