Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1/3 c. shortening or oil
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    To make buttermilk, take one cup milk and add 1 tablespoon vinegar.
    Let set while you start mixing the batter.
    Stir occasionally.
    Cream shortening or oil with sugar and cocoa.
    Add eggs, stir well.
    Add buttermilk, then flour, soda, salt and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
    Use 8 x 8-inch pan or whatever you have.
