Whole Wheat Walnut Sticks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    4 Tbsp. solid fat
    1/3 c. walnuts (fine)
    2/3 c. cold water
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Rub fat in as for pie crust.
    Pour water, gradually mixing into stiff dough.
    Knead very thoroughly on board.
    Press out with hands on board until about 1/2 inch thick and cut 1/2 x 3-inch strips or roll dough into sticks and bake 1/2 hour in moderate oven (325\u00b0 to 375\u00b0).
    Roll or turn once or twice during baking.
