Broccoli And Cauliflower Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 stalks broccoli
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 small can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
    1/2 medium red onion
    6 slices cooked bacon, broken into pieces
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 c. pecans or English walnuts
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. whipping cream of half and half
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine raisins, nuts, chopped broccoli, bacon, chestnuts and onion; toss well.
    Combine remaining ingredients.
    Pour over vegetables.
    Better if marinated several hours.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
