Aunt Beulah'S Liver Nips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. uncooked beef liver
    1 medium onion
    1/8 lb. uncooked beef suet (optional)
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. salt or to taste
    black pepper to taste
    3 c. sifted plain flour
    1 c. beef stock or broth from cooked beef roast
    1 1/4 c. uncooked pasta spirals
    1 c. broccoli flowerets
    1 c. carrots, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces (optional)
    1/2 c. sliced zucchini or yellow squash
    1/4 c. margarine
    5 oz. can evaporated milk
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. tarragon
Preparation
    In an 8-cup measuring bowl, microwave 2 1/2 cups water on High for 8 minutes or until boiling.
    Add pasta and cook on High 5 to 6 minutes or until tender.
    Drain and set aside.
