Strawberry Glace' Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. fresh strawberries
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    few drops of red food coloring
    whipped cream or topping
Preparation
    Bake and cool pie
    shell.
    Wash
    and hull strawberries. Cut up one cup berries.
    Mix
    sugar
    and cornstarch in 2 quart saucepan. Stir in water
    until
    smooth.
    Add
    cut up berries. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and clear.
    Stir in food coloring; cool.
    Arrange
    remaining
    whole berries in pie crust.
    Pour cooked berries
    over
    them.
    Chill
    until
    firm, about three hours.
    Garnish with whipped cream or topping.
