River Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. chili meat
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic
    1 tsp. ground oregano
    1 tsp. comino seed or cumin
    6 tsp. chili powder, more if needed
    1 1/2 c. canned whole tomatoes
    2 to 6 generous dashes liquid hot pepper sauce
    salt, to taste
    2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Place meat, onion and garlic in large, heavy fry pan. Cook over medium heat until the meat is lightly browned. Add oregano, comino seed, chili powder, tomatoes, hot pepper sauce, salt and hot water. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer about 1 hour.
