Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 potatoes (depends on size of potato), diced like for potato salad, don't overcook
    1 small onion
    1/2 gal. milk
    1/4 stick margarine
    salt and pepper to taste
    6 hard-boiled eggs
Preparation
    Cook potatoes and onion in salt water until tender.
    Drain all of water, except small amount.
    Add milk and margarine.
    Then add chopped hard-boiled eggs.
    Cook on low until margarine melts.
    Add pepper to taste.
