Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Karo syrup (light)
3/4 c. water
1 c. raw nuts
2 Tbsp. oleo
1 tsp. soda
Preparation

In a heavy pot, mix sugar, Karo syrup and water.
Keep stirring until it forms a thread stage.
Add nuts and cook until it turns an amber color.
Remove from heat and add oleo and soda. Mix well and pour into a buttered cookie sheet.
