Italian Fried Bread And Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. salad oil or olive oil
    6 eggs, slightly beaten
    3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
    pinch of marjoram
    salt and pepper
    6 slices Italian bread
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine slightly beaten eggs, cheese, margarine and seasonings.
    Heat oil in frying pan.
    Dip bread, 1 slice at a time, into milk, but do not soak, then dip in seasoned eggs. Saute in hot oil until golden brown.
    Serve immediately.
    Serves 3.
    Excellent as a Lenten side dish.
