Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. Karo Syrup
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. margarine (melted)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/4 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. (1 stick) cold margarine cut into pieces
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    For bar cookie crust:
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Spray 13 x 9 inch baking pan with cooking spray.
    In a large bowl with mixer, at medium speed, beat flour, margarine, sugar and salt until mixture resembles coarse crumbles.
    Press firmly into bottom of pan and 1/4 inch up sides of pan.
    Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown.
    Top with
    desired filling.
