Old Fashioned Chicken Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 qt. chicken broth
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add broth and oil, stirring until dry ingredients are moist.
    Form ball.
    Roll dough until 1/16-inch thick.
    Using a sharp knife, cut the entire rolled dough into 1-inch strips, then cut crosswise into 1 1/2-inch rectangles.
    Drop dumplings into boiling broth.
    Cover and cook on medium-low heat 15 minutes, or until tender.
    Makes 6 servings.
