Cold Cucumber Soup With Shrimp And Crabmeat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium cucumbers, peeled, seeded and coarsely chopped
    1/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    1/2 tsp. onion juice
    4 c. buttermilk
    2 c. sour cream
    salt and white pepper to taste
    1/2 c. diced, peeled and deveined cooked shrimp
    1/2 c. lump crabmeat, picked over and shells discarded
Preparation
    Place the cucumbers, Tabasco, onion juice and 1 cup of the buttermilk in a blender or the bowl of a food processor; puree until the mixture is smooth.
    Transfer the mixture to a large bowl; whisk in the remaining buttermilk, sour cream and the salt and pepper.
    Serve immediately or refrigerate.
