Canned Blackberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk with 2 tsp. soda in it
2 c. blackberries, canned
3 c. flour
4 eggs
2 tsp. each of spices

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar together.
Add eggs and buttermilk/soda mix.
Blend spices, cocoa and flour and add slowly to mixture.
