Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 jar sauerkraut, drained
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped green pepper
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 small jar pimento
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Rinse sauerkraut with water and drain.
    Cover with fresh water again and bring to a boil.
    Drain again and mix sauerkraut with chopped vegetables in a large mixing bowl.
    Boil together 1 cup of water, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper; pour hot liquid over all. Refrigerate immediately.
    Keeps indefinitely.
