Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 lb. round steak, cut 1-inch thick
1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 bell pepper
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 medium onion
1/2 c. catsup
Preparation

Mix catsup and water.
Sprinkle meat with 1/4 cup flour, salt and pepper.
Pound into meat and turn over.
Add remainder of flour, salt and pepper.
Pound this into meat.
Brown on both sides of meat.
Add other ingredients.
Cover tightly and cook slowly on top of stove for 1 hour.
