Gem Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. water
    1 c. Wesson oil
    1/2 c. catsup
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 c. grated onion
Preparation
    Cook sugar and water until it spins a thread; let cool. Combine remaining ingredients.
    Add syrup and beat thoroughly. Chill.
    Makes 2 cups.
