Aunt Grace'S Chewy Chocolate Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. light Karo syrup
    1/3 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Melt chocolate and butter in 4 cup saucepan over low heat. Stir in sugar and corn syrup; add water.
    Bring to a low boil and keep cooking over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring.
    Off heat, add salt and vanilla.
    Reheat in microwave.
    Serve on ice cream or angel food cake.
