San Francisco Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. peeled, sliced onion
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 pkg. sour cream sauce mix
    1 beef bouillon cube, in 1 1/3 c. boiling water
    1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Shape ground beef into balls.
    Brown in butter.
    Add 1 sliced onion; cook until tender.
