Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. milk
1 small can cream-style corn
1/2 lb. cheese, grated
2 eggs
1 medium onion, chopped
1 or more jalapeno peppers, chopped
1/4 to 1/2 c. bacon drippings
Preparation

Mix corn meal, salt and soda.
Add milk, corn, grated cheese and eggs.
Stir well.
Add onion, peppers and bacon drippings. Pour into greased pan and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
