Vegetable Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 tsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. milk
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cooked English peas
Preparation
    Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat.
    Add flour, stirring well until smooth.
    Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Gradually add milk and cook over medium heat until mixture is thickened and bubbly.
    Stir in salt, pepper and peas.
    Yields 3/4 cup.
