Caramel Icing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar (brown 1/2 c.)
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. milk
pinch of salt
1/2 c. butter, cut up
Preparation

Brown 1/2 cup sugar. Heat other ingredients and add to brown sugar. Cook to soft-ball stage. Cool 5 minutes. Beat with a wooden spoon.
