Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/4 c. confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 c. flaked coconut
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar.
Gradually add flour.
Add vanilla; beat.
Stir in coconut.
Shape into 1-inch balls; place on cookie sheet.
Refrigerate 15 minutes.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 15 minutes or until delicately browned.
While cookies are still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
Makes approximately 4
dozen cookies.
