Frozen Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (11 oz.) can mandarin orange sections
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jell-O brand gelatin (lime flavor)
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. (1/2 pt.) sour cream
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Drain
    orange
    sections,
    reserving syrup. Add water to syrup to
    make
    1/2
    cup.
    Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add measured liquid and chill until slightly thickened.
    Blend sour cream
    and
    mayonnaise
    into gelatin;
    chill again until thickened.
    Fold
    in
    orange
    sections, marshmallows and nuts. Spoon into 8-inch square pan or 8 x 4-inch loaf pan and freeze until firm.
    Unmold and
    garnish
    wtih
    crisp salad greens and additional fruit, if desired.
    Makes 5 cups or 10 servings.
